Secret Church Simulcast – Round 2! Pastor Mike’s Story Posted: 17 Oct 2011 01:50 PM PDT I am the senior pastor of a small rural, country church in the extreme southwestern corner of Georgia.  Our faith family is nestled just east of Alabama and just north of Florida. I introduced my faith family to David Platt and Secret Church through the LifeWay simulcast in April 2011.  I invited all of the pastors in our 42 church association to attend.  We had approximately 20 people from 5 churches be a part of this worship experience. We were from different walks of life, different contexts, and different ethnicities.  There were young and old, mature and immature believers, introduced to Bible study like they had never seen. God used our time in the Word that night.  Some were overwhelmed, some were over come with joy, but the experience was enjoyed by all.  When the clock struck 1 a.m., no one could believe it.  They wanted to know when we could do this again. I am excited to tell them it is time to have Secret Church again.  We are ready to dive into God’s Word to seek truth and biblical knowledge as we grapple with life’s most intimate questions relating to family, marriage, sex, & the gospel.
