What’s The Impact Of Extending Secret Church Through Simulcast? Posted: 06 Feb 2012 06:00 AM PST The following is Part 3 of an interview with Pastor and author, David Platt… What has been the impact of extending Secret Church through a simulcast? “On a base level, having a simulcast for Secret Church exposes more people to the primacy of God's Word and the importance of prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters. If there's anything that the last two simulcasts have shown, it's clear that people are hungry for God's Word, and they're convinced we need to identify with and pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters. Beyond this, though, I think one of the most exciting things about extending the impact of Secret Church through a simulcast is the opportunity to worship, pray and study the Word in a global context.  During the each of the simulcasts people were sending in pictures of groups studying all over the world.  When we see those pictures, the fact that all of us in Birmingham, AL, are joining with those brothers and sisters, on the other side of the world, it is just striking.  It is an incredible feeling.” Part 4:  Why should a small group host a Secret Church simulcast?
