| Secret Church Doesn’t Have to Be In a Church Posted: 16 Feb 2012 09:12 AM PST Now that the Simulcast Host Map is up the most common question we get is: “What do I do if there aren’t any churches in my area hosting Secret Church?” Our answer? Register for the simulcast and have Secret Church right in the middle of your living room! When we began working with LifeWay last year to simulcast Secret Church all over the world we wanted to do it in such a way that small groups, student groups, families, churches, anyone could participate. They had already been working on a way to make simulcasts readily available through the internet and thought Secret Church would be a great way to try out their new technology. Our first simulcast had approximately 50,000 participants. A good number of those participants were small groups and student groups meeting in basements or living rooms in homes all over the world. If I weren't teaching, I think I would love to gather together in a home with a group of people to be a part of this. Participants told us that they enjoyed the smaller setting and doing something like Secret Church in homes.
