| Mini-terms for Global Studies are now available, offered exclusively by Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) in partnership with The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM). These terms provide advanced learning in the areas of Christian persecution and a biblical response to worldwide suffering. Each mini-term is a one-week, intensive, three-credit-hour college course that takes place on the campus of OKWU located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The mini-term also includes a service project with VOM at our headquarters in Bartlesville. The tuition cost of this residence program ($150 per credit hour or $450 total) covers housing, books and meals on the campus of OKWU. Each course offers academic credit transfer options. The first mini-term begins Dec. 28, 2012 and ends Jan. 4, 2013, with a focus on “God and Government.” Click here to apply and for mini-term dates and courses offered in 2013 - 2014. Unable to relocate for one week? Visit www.VOMClassroom.com to view a selection of online workshops that will guide you through persecution studies. These courses will deepen your knowledge of and effectiveness in ministry to the persecuted church. Each class is self-enrolled and self-paced, allowing you to study on your own time. Using audio lectures, video clips and other reading materials, these courses offer a broad range of topics, such as Persecution Studies, History of Persecution, Preparing for Persecution, Praying for the Persecuted Church, Muslim Evangelism, and courses in Biblical Studies in Persecution and Suffering for the Old and New Testaments.
