| Posted: 06 Apr 2014 10:01 PM PDT In preparation for Secret Church 14 on Good Friday, our team is trying to be intentional about prayer. We realize that the only way the simulcast on April 18 will be a true success is if God makes it one. And we want Secret Church to be a success … in a heavenly sense. What a tragedy it would be if all that came out of it was a good gathering, a smooth simulcast, and a popular event! Our desire is that, through His Word, God transforms lives to the glory of his name. Though we hope He uses Secret Church toward that end, Secret Church is powerless to transform lives. We must depend on Him in prayer. If you feel the same way, consider being part of our prayer team. This year, we’re getting people to sign up to do battle in prayer for Secret Church. We’d love for people to commit to pray for the gathering in the week leading up to it as well as throughout the night. We would obviously encourage you to join us for the simulcast if you’re able, but if you’re not able or if you’d rather view it later with our delayed streaming option, it would be a blessing to have people praying for Secret Church during those six hours on Good Friday (6pm–midnight CT). These are the kind of things we are requesting earnest prayer for:
If you desire to be a part of such a team, commit to pray here. We’d love to hear who you are and how you’re planning on praying. To learn more about Secret Church 14: “The Cross and Everyday Life,” and register for the simulcast, go here. |
