By Jim Warren January 2007 was the month that forever changed my perception of the "Christian life." Just one month before, my wife, Betty, and I had joined The Church At Brook Hills. This transition to Brook Hills was in response to God's leading us away from the church that we had called home for 30 years and toward a new adventure with a new faith family. The move was accompanied by a fundamental change in my relationship with Jesus – I had set my heart on a complete and unconditional surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
