How to Get the Word Out About Your Simulcast Posted: 05 Mar 2014 10:01 PM PST If you’re hosting a Secret Church simulcast, you’ll want to start getting the word out about it fairly soon if you haven’t already begun. Especially if you are hosting as a church, it’s a good idea to begin letting people know about the simulcast so they can plan accordingly. Remember, you can always purchase another simulcast package (or order additional study guides if you originally purchased package 7), so don’t let the fear of “over interest” keep you from spreading the word! Here are some ideas to help you get thinking on how you can effectively promote your simulcast gathering: We’ve put three videos in your account (make sure you log in with the info emailed to you after you registered) that we encourage you to share with folks, particularly for the sake of those who may not know anything about Secret Church. You could show them during the announcement time of your weekly meeting, embed them on your church website, and/or push them out via your social media channels. Use the Secret Chruch graphics in your account to announce the simulcast on your website, your Facebook page, an e-vite, hallway posters, bulletin inserts, or even postcards. Make sure you’re familiar with how Secret Church works so you can answer people’s questions and give an overview of the night. You can view past SC studies to get a feel for Pastor David’s teaching style, and you can view a general schedule for the night to know how things will work ahead of time. Start prepping people for the Secret Church prayer emphasis–the peoples of Turkey. Point people to this blog and HopeForTurkey.com to begin learning about Turkey, and then make plans to join us in devoting the month of May to prayer for the Turks and Kurds.
