Day 22: Workers Needed Posted: 21 Mar 2012 11:00 PM PDT During this Secret Church on Good Friday, April 6, we are focusing our prayer time on the people of the Horn of Africa. Throughout the weeks leading up to Secret Church we will post information and prayer requests on this blog. We invite you to join us in learning about and praying for the people of the Horn. Photo Courtesy of the IMB The work of missionaries in Somalia has always been dangerous and hedged with restrictions. During a period of over 70 years, a number of different missions agencies reported several hundred people turning to the Lord. However, all mission work was forced to cease in 1972 by the new regime. Ways to Pray Pray that God will move the leaders of Somalia to lift these restrictions. Pray for workers to the Somalis to be called, committed, and ready for when these defiantly closed doors open.
