Join us in praying for this spiritually dark area of the world, and as you do, be sure to take advantage of the 31-day prayer guide. In many parts of Turkey tap water is not considered safe to drink. Instead, clean drinking water is often ordered from a store and delivered via scooter in huge five-gallon jugs. The water man then hand delivers the jugs to the apartment door. Not long ago, while having our water delivered, I experienced something quite unusual. As I shook hands with the deliveryman and moved the water bottle inside the door, I noticed that he was giggling. I asked him why he was so happy. "Sometimes my mind doesn't work," he said. "And I'm a little crazy." I was confused, so I asked him what he meant. "Sometimes," he replied, "they come to me." Of course I was curious who was visiting him, so I asked. "Spirits," he explained.
